File Conversion Examples

 
Here you can find sample files to use as input for the pipeline.

Example 1. The first sample file is an hypothetical output file from the PolyPhred software package. This is Polyphred's output format. To use this sample file, follow the steps below:
  1. Download the sample file here.
  2. Select "PolyPhred Output" as the Start point.
  3. Click the "End" icon.
  4. Select either "Prettybase format", "SDAT format" or "PHASE input" for the End point (desired output format).
  5. Click the "Enter" icon.
  6. This file is correctly formatted, so in the formatting page go straight to "My file is correct" and upload the sample file through the "Upload File" box.
  7. Submit your file.
  8. You should now have the converted file ready to download.


Example 2. The second example has input files for the conversion step "PHASE Output" to "DNAsp Input". For this conversion step you need three different input files: (1) the Fragment input file; (2) the Reference Sequence input file; and (3) the Phase Output file. To continue with this example, follow the steps below:
  1. Download the sample files: fragments, reference sequence, and PHASE output file.
  2. Select "PHASE Output" as the Start point.
  3. Click the "End" icon.
  4. Select "DNAsp Input" for the End point (desired output format).
  5. Click the "Enter" icon.
  6. Upload all three files through their corresponding upload boxes.
  7. Submit your files.
  8. You should now have the converted file ready to download.
